My basic recipe for gooey chocolate brownies, i found these a bit of a challenge at first as you have to take them out the oven when the outside is crusted but the middle is still gooey and very moist as brownies carry on firming up for a few hours after taking out of the oven, they are best left overnight at room temperature to settle and firm.
Be brave when taking them out the oven, even if you take them out too early they will be edible just extra gooey and more pudding like( but gorgeous warm with clotted cream!)
They can also be ‘tarted’ up with any bits and bobs you wish to put in the mixture a few favourits are cadbury cream eggs, squashed in the top before putting in oven, oreo cookies in mixture or fudge pieces or go for it and put all three!
Just grab whatever you fancy and bung it in!
